Yoga Recharge

On my way to my yoga retreat. I am excited and nervous but happy. I did not plan to take this trip by myself but I am glad I did not cancel just for lack of a travel buddy. I sat down and though of what my intentions were for the week. What was I looking to get out of it? What were my goals?

This trip was a reset. I'd like to blame Covid but I wonder sometimes. I went from a great personal practice daily to lucky if I did a sun salutation a week or more. I was looking to renew the energy, the drive to improve or develop my personal practice. Recharge. Disconnect from my office job's distractions and reset my routine. Regain motivation for my yoga teaching to expand- Website, video demos, development of the app, the start of my merch (the T-shirts are cute), etc. It is just that brainstorming has fizzled when I am at home. Ideal routine would be: chai, meditate, yoga, walk dog, breakfast - office job - walk dog, yoga, dinner, teach yoga, read, meditate, sleep.


Hopefully This week is a rest of life. Not just asanas- I am looking for a full spectrum of limbs and facets of my life.
